Workshop on Safe Touch & Unsafe Touch at ML Primary School, Patharjhora

Creating a safe environment for children begins with awareness and open communication. BloomPath Wellness Home recently conducted an impactful workshop on Safe Touch and Unsafe Touch at ML Primary School, Patharjhora, with the aim of empowering young students with essential knowledge about body safety and personal boundaries.

Why This Workshop Was Important

In today’s world, educating children about personal safety is not optional—it is necessary. Many children may feel confused or scared to speak about uncomfortable situations. Early awareness helps them:

  • Understand their personal boundaries
  • Recognize inappropriate behavior
  • Build confidence to say “No”
  • Identify trusted adults they can approach

The goal was not to create fear, but to build confidence and clarity.

What Was Covered in the Session

The workshop was designed in a child-friendly and age-appropriate manner. Through interactive discussions and simple examples, students learned:

✅ What is Safe Touch?

  • A touch that makes them feel comfortable and cared for
  • Examples: A parent’s hug, a teacher’s pat on the back for appreciation

❌ What is Unsafe Touch?

  • Any touch that makes them feel uncomfortable, scared, or confused
  • A touch to private body parts
  • Any touch that someone asks them to keep secret

🛑 The Power of “NO”

Students were encouraged to:

  • Say “NO” loudly and confidently
  • Move away from unsafe situations
  • Immediately inform a trusted adult

Our Commitment

At BloomPath Wellness Home, we believe awareness is the first step toward protection. By educating children early, we help them grow into confident, aware, and empowered individuals.

Workshops like these are a step toward building safer schools and stronger communities.
